1- Slack Integration for Real-Time Notifications

You can now integrate Edara with Slack to receive real-time notifications for the events that matter to you, directly within your workspace.

You can create custom events with specific conditions or use ready-made examples to get started quickly, helping you stay on top of operations and take timely action.

2- Designing and Printing Barcodes

You can now design and print item barcodes easily using “Barcode Designer” from the Extensions Store, with the ability to create fully customized templates based on your needs.

This allows you to control the barcode layout and displayed data, such as description and price, or add elements like QR codes and images for better organization and presentation.

3- Checking stock Item prices 

You can now instantly check item prices using the Price Checker from the Extensions Store by scanning or entering the part number.

This allows you to quickly access pricing during operations, even without an internet connection once item data is loaded.

Greater Flexibility in Handling Online Store Orders

When integrating with an online store, certain system settings — such as mandatory salesperson assignment or serial number entry — may require data that is not available in orders coming from the store, which can cause these orders to be blocked.

You can now exclude the integration user from these requirements, allowing online store sales orders to be created smoothly without needing to enter this data, while keeping the same settings enforced for in-branch operations to ensure accuracy and control.

Saving a View on the Sales Orders Page

Instead of reapplying filters or rearranging columns every time, you can now save your preferred view layouts in the Sales Orders page and reuse them anytime.

This allows you to customize how data is displayed based on your workflow, while keeping each user’s preferences independent.

Selecting the Data Source for Sales Orders in POS

You can now define the data source for Sales Orders in the Point of Sale (POS) to display orders based on where they were created.

Choose to view orders from “Edara 2.0”, “Edara 2.5”, or both, giving you more control over order tracking and better-organized data visibility.

Displaying Stock and Service Item Quantities in the Sales Orders Report

When you need to identify the actual shippable quantities without including services such as delivery or packaging, you can now view stock and service item quantities separately in the Sales Orders report.

Display Item Images in the Gross Profit Report

For example, if you have a grouping item like “Men’s Shirt” that includes multiple sizes or colors, you can update the price once at the grouped item level, and the new price will be automatically applied to all its sub-items.

This makes price management easier, saves time, and ensures data consistency across all related items.

Controlling the Unpermitted Pages Visibility in Menus

You can control how unpermitted pages appear in menus, either by hiding them from all users or specific users or showing them without allowing access to unpermitted users.

This helps you organize the interface, reduce distractions, and have control over what each user can see.

Approving and Issuing Sales Orders from POS

When processing sales orders, you can complete both approval and issuance directly from the POS to complete orders without switching to “Edara 2.0”.

This also enables you to complete orders that were not finalized due to internet connection issues by approving and issuing them from the POS.

A New Version of the Shopify Integration

We’ve launched a new version of the Shopify integration, offering a smoother connection experience, more precise control over synchronization settings, and better visibility into operations and errors.

Here are some of the key improvements:

1- Manage Multiple Shopify Stores

If you run more than one Shopify store, you can now connect and manage them all through a single Edara account.

This allows you to centralize your operations, unify your data, and manage inventory and sales across all stores without switching between systems.

2- Improved Product and Customer Linking

Linking products and customers between Edara and Shopify is now more streamlined.

You can define matching criteria such as SKU or barcode for products, and email or phone number for customers, helping you unify records and avoid duplication.

You can also test your matching criteria before applying them, review unmatched records, and fix any inconsistencies before completing the process.

3- More Control Over Synchronization Settings

The new version gives you greater flexibility in managing how data flows between Edara and Shopify.

You can configure field mappings based on your business needs, including pricing, tax rates, and payment-related accounts, ensuring accurate and structured data handling.

4- Default Accounts for Payments

In normal scenarios, each payment method in Shopify is linked to a corresponding account in Edara.

If a payment method is missing or not configured properly, transactions will still be recorded automatically using a predefined default account.

Viewing Deleted Document Details

There are situations where reviewing financial activities or tracking deleted documents becomes necessary to ensure procedural integrity.

Edara allows you to access deleted documents details, including sales orders, inventory transfers, cash disbursements, and more.

This feature strengthens internal control by providing visibility into deleted transactions and helping detect any unauthorized deletions, ensuring financial clarity and operational stability.

Filtering by Warehouse on the Payment Page

You can now control which sales orders appear in the Payment page based on the user’s warehouse permissions.

Instead of displaying all orders by default, you can restrict users to view only sales orders from their authorized warehouses, with the ability to set this as a default option and control whether users can modify it.

This enhancement ensures payments are processed for the correct warehouse, reduces collection errors, and strengthens financial control.

Controlling Modification of Bank Fees on the Sales Order Payment

If a sales order is paid using a bank account with predefined fees configured in the system, modifying those fees during payment may result in inaccurate entries and reconciliation differences

Edara now allows you to restrict the editing of bank fees during payment or permit modifications based on your company’s internal policy, ensuring greater financial accuracy and tighter control over collection processes.

When you need to perform an action on a specific group of sales orders — such as printing orders received from an online store — you often already have a list of document codes or reference numbers copied from an Excel file or a report.

Instead of searching for each order individually, the “OR Match” option allows you to paste all values at once and use them for filtering, so you can instantly display the required orders and apply the needed action.

Editing Production Orders While In Progress

During the execution of a production order, quantity differences or data updates may be required compared to the initial setup.

Edara now allows you to edit production orders while they are still in progress, enabling you to update quantities or details without canceling or restarting the order.

This feature allows you to disable system access for all users and branches within seconds, with the ability to easily reactivate the system at any time and resume work using the same data and settings.

Bulk Paste Support in the Payment page

When paying a large number of Sales Orders with pre-available codes — such as shipping company payments — you can complete the process without relying on advanced search filters or selecting each order individually.

“Edara” now allows you to paste multiple document codes at once, making it easy to display the proposed payment for them and prepare them for paying. This helps speed up payment processing and reduces manual effort.

Custom Fields in POS

When you need to record additional information for Sales Orders — such as the delivery representative, sales channel, or any data specific to your business — you can now add custom fields that appear as part of the Sales Order data.

This ensures clearer data, more accurate documentation, and better-structured sales operations tailored to each business workflow.

Displaying Address and Notes in the Sales Orders Listing Page

You can now display Address and Notes directly within the Sales Orders listing  page, making it easier to review key details without opening each order individually.

In addition, the system automatically saves the last applied filters and selected columns, so the page opens again with the same settings, supporting faster daily follow-up and improving review efficiency and decision-making.

Custom Fields in Production Orders

When you need to document additional information within production orders—such as production priority, work shift, or other operational details—you can now add custom fields that appear directly during production order creation.

This feature helps organize production data more accurately and standardize how information is recorded, in line with your business operations.

Adding Notes to Production Orders

You can now add notes or operational instructions directly within a Production Order, allowing you to document important manufacturing details such as execution instructions, quality notes, or specific operational requirements.

This enhancement helps ensure clearer documentation and guarantees that all critical information is visible to the production team during execution.

Displaying Recent Prices for a Specific Customer

When selling to dealers or super dealers, knowing the most recent prices you offered for a specific item to that customer can help you keep pricing consistent and accurate.

With this feature, you can instantly view the last five prices for any item sold to a selected customer from the sales order. You’ll also see key details like document, date, quantity, unit of measure, price, and any applicable discounts. 

This gives your sales team quick access to reliable pricing history, builds trust with customers, and helps avoid potential disputes, especially in B2B transactions.

Sharing the Table View with Other Users

In “Edara 3.0”, you can now share saved table views with teammates, assign viewer or editor permissions, or even transfer ownership.

This makes it easy to standardize custom views across the team—no need for each user to set them up manually. 

Locking Sales Orders and Automatic Actions in POS

At certain stages of the sales cycle, especially after printing the final invoice for the customer, it becomes essential to prevent any further editing or deletion of the Sales Order.

Edara allows you to lock Sales Orders either manually or automatically, whether upon creation, printing, or when using specific print templates.

Once the order is locked, automatic actions can be triggered affecting both the sales and warehouse modules in Edara 2.0, such as approval or stock issuing, helping speed up the sales cycle while ensuring smoother and more accurate operations.

Saving Purchase Order as Draft

If you’re working on a purchase order and haven’t completed all the details yet, you can now save it as a draft. 

Once you’re ready to finalize it, simply complete the information and convert it to “Confirmed” status. 

You can also change the status from “Draft” to “Confirmed” without needing to open each order page, streamlining your workflow and giving you more flexibility in managing purchase orders.

Importing Purchase Orders Lines “3.0” from Sales Orders “2.0”

When your workflow begins with a customer’s Sales Order, manually re-entering its items into a Purchase Order can slow down the purchasing process — especially with large orders.

With this update, you can now import Sales Order lines directly from “Edara 2.0” into a Purchase Order in “Edara 3.0”, saving time, reducing manual entry efforts, and ensuring data accuracy across both systems.

Setting Suppliers Payment Terms

Managing supplier payments starts with having a clear, accurate due date. With this update, you can now assign default payment terms to each supplier, allowing Edara to automatically calculate the invoice due date whenever you create a Purchase Invoice — no manual entry required.

Scan and Update Actual Weights for Weighted Products

When selling weighted products like cheese, grains, or nuts, the final weight after preparation can differ from the required in the order affecting both total price and quantity.

With this update, you can scan the product’s barcode to instantly capture its actual weight and update the order automatically.

This ensures precise records, speeds up order processing, and keeps customers satisfied.

Displaying Estimated Profit in the Sales Approvals Page

A new “Estimated Profit” icon on the Sales Approvals page gives you a quick summary of order value, current cost, and Estimated profit—in the document’s original currency.

This helps you make informed decisions while keeping sensitive data secure through role-based permissions.

Improved Journal Entry Displaying Experience

A new view has been introduced to make browsing journal entries more organized, with filtering options by date and posting status. For greater accuracy, you can now review journal entries at the line level directly from the Journal Entries list, giving you a detailed view of each line without opening the full entry, while automatically saving your display preferences to match your workflow.

In addition, you can export journal entries to Excel, whether viewing them by documents or by lines, with the ability to control export permissions for each user.

Together, these enhancements make working with journal entries faster, easier, and more personalized.

Creating Price Tiers in POS

You can now create multiple price tiers within the POS, such as: Customer Price, Dealer Price, or Super Dealer Price, depending on the type of customer or sales policy.

This feature gives you more flexibility in pricing management and helps you easily and accurately implement various sales strategies within stores. 

ZATCA Submission Mode Selection in “Edara 3.0”

We’ve added a new feature that gives you greater flexibility when integrating “Edara 3.0” with “ZATCA” in KSA.

You can now choose between instant invoice submission upon issuance or continue using later submission—giving you full control over the timing based on your workflow.

Controlling User Roles on Edara 3.0

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance security and streamline task delegation, we introduced a new page in Edara 3.0 that gives system administrators full control over user roles in one place.

From this page, admins can easily review and adjust permissions, rename users if needed, and ensure each team member has access only to what’s relevant to their responsibilities—minimizing overlap and preventing unauthorized access.

This feature in POS 2.5 allows you to scan the stock item barcode to automatically update the actual quantity.

Export Bill of Materials to Excel

When you need to review or analyze Bills of Materials, Edara now lets you export them all into a well-structured Excel file that includes every detail, such as material costs and other costs. Each Bill of Materials is separated within the file, making review much easier.

Selecting Item Code Generation Method

You now have more flexibility when auto-generating item codes in Edara. You can either let the system follow its internal sequence or continue automatically from the last code you entered.

This makes item coding more seamless, while giving you full control over how your items are numbered.

Displaying Related Suppliers in the Stock Cost Report

You can now display the related suppliers for each item — as defined earlier in the Stock Item page — directly within the Stock Cost report, adding greater accuracy and clarity when tracking item-supplier relationships.
