May 2025 Updates: Smarter Tools for Manufacturing and Sales

Every update is designed to give you more flexibility, precision, and control—no matter how complex your processes are.

In the May 2025 updates, we focused on enhancing manufacturing operations with smart rollback features that let you undo unintended actions with ease. We’ve also introduced key improvements to quotes management and displaying reserved balance, so you can stay informed and act at the right moment.

Here’s what’s new in Edara this month.

Displaying the Reserved Balance Details from the Warehouse Stocks Report

Instead of manually searching through unissued sales orders or pending transfer requests to find reserved stock quantities—a process that often wastes valuable time and effort—you can now instantly display all reserved balance details for any stock item directly from the Warehouse Stocks Report.

“Edara” also allows you to open any of these related documents in a separate tab, so you can take the necessary action when needed—such as completing the issuance or a transfer.

Undo Starting a Production Order

At times, a production order may be started by mistake, leading to the unintended consumption of raw materials—which can disrupt inventory accuracy and production planning.

To address this, you can now undo the start of a production order if it was executed in error. The system will automatically delete the incorrectly generated document and restore the order to its original pre-start state.

This feature gives you greater flexibility in managing production operations, helping you maintain inventory accuracy and prevent unwanted disruptions to your workflows.

Undo Completing a Production Order

Once raw materials are issued and production begins, the production order is typically marked as complete when the required quantities have been manufactured. However, in some cases, completion may be recorded by mistake before the actual completion, resulting in inaccurate stock entries.

To prevent such errors, we’ve added the ability to undo the completion of a production order. This allows you to cancel the completion and automatically delete the mistakenly generated document, returning the order to its previous state until the products are actually manufactured.

This feature helps ensure the accuracy of finished supplies’ balances and gives you more flexibility in managing your production workflow.

Displaying the “Salesperson” field in the quotes print template

Since quotes often turn into sales orders, showing the salesperson’s name helps distinguish between different quotes and identifies who prepared each one.

This makes it easier for the salesperson to follow up directly with the customer and track the status of the quote in a more organized and professional way.

You can now choose to display the salesperson’s name on printed quotes—making it easier to monitor sales activity and improve your follow-up process with customers.
