The May 2026 updates in Edara introduce a range of new tools through the Extensions Store, along with practical enhancements that help you execute tasks faster, organize data more accurately, and manage operations more efficiently.

Extensions Store in Edara
You can now take advantage of the Extensions Store, which offers a range of tools designed to support your workflow and help you perform tasks more efficiently.
Below are some of the features you can start using:
1- Slack Integration for Real-Time Notifications
You can now integrate Edara with Slack to receive real-time notifications for the events that matter to you, directly within your workspace.
You can create custom events with specific conditions or use ready-made examples to get started quickly, helping you stay on top of operations and take timely action.

2- Designing and Printing Barcodes
You can now design and print item barcodes easily using “Barcode Designer” from the Extensions Store, with the ability to create fully customized templates based on your needs.
This allows you to control the barcode layout and displayed data, such as description and price, or add elements like QR codes and images for better organization and presentation.

3- Checking stock Item prices
You can now instantly check item prices using the Price Checker from the Extensions Store by scanning or entering the part number.
This allows you to quickly access pricing during operations, even without an internet connection once item data is loaded.

Greater Flexibility in Handling Online Store Orders
When integrating with an online store, certain system settings — such as mandatory salesperson assignment or serial number entry — may require data that is not available in orders coming from the store, which can cause these orders to be blocked.
You can now exclude the integration user from these requirements, allowing online store sales orders to be created smoothly without needing to enter this data, while keeping the same settings enforced for in-branch operations to ensure accuracy and control.

Saving a View on the Sales Orders Page
Instead of reapplying filters or rearranging columns every time, you can now save your preferred view layouts in the Sales Orders page and reuse them anytime.
This allows you to customize how data is displayed based on your workflow, while keeping each user’s preferences independent.

Selecting the Data Source for Sales Orders in POS
You can now define the data source for Sales Orders in the Point of Sale (POS) to display orders based on where they were created.
Choose to view orders from “Edara 2.0”, “Edara 2.5”, or both, giving you more control over order tracking and better-organized data visibility.

Displaying Stock and Service Item Quantities in the Sales Orders Report
When you need to identify the actual shippable quantities without including services such as delivery or packaging, you can now view stock and service item quantities separately in the Sales Orders report.
This provides clearer visibility into shippable quantities and supports more accurate operational decisions.

Display Item Images in the Gross Profit Report
You can now view the Gross Profit report with item images displayed alongside their key data, making it easier to distinguish between items within the report.
This helps you review data faster and with greater clarity, especially when working with a large number of items or similar products.
