October 2026 Updates: Greater Efficiency in Managing Items, Warehouses, and Purchase Incentives

October 2026 brings new capabilities to “Edara” that help you handle repetitive tasks across large numbers of items and warehouses more efficiently, from updating sales prices and item images in bulk to standardizing warehouse accounts and automatically calculating purchase incentives.

Update Sales Prices in Bulk

When you need to update your sales prices following changes in purchase costs or for other business reasons, updating each price individually can take considerable time, especially when you have a large number of stock items and multiple price lists.

You can now recalculate sales prices whenever needed for a group of stock items across one or more price lists at once, based on the average cost, last cost, or another sales price. You can also set the increase or discount percentage and rounding method for each price list, making it easier to update your prices.

Set Default Accounts for Your Warehouses at the Company Level

When you manage a large number of warehouses, setting accounts for each warehouse separately and repeating the same setup can take extra time, especially when most warehouses use the same accounts.

You can now define Company GL interface defaults once and have them applied automatically across your warehouses, while setting exceptions only for warehouses that require different accounts.

You can also see the default accounts and exceptions for each warehouse and make bulk changes, making warehouse account management easier.

Update Stock Item Images in Bulk

When updating images for a large number of stock items, attaching an image to each item individually can become repetitive. You can now upload and attach images to up to 500 stock items in a single operation.

For grouping items with multiple sizes or colors, you can add the image once to the grouping item, and it will automatically apply to the related items that don’t already have an image, while existing images remain unchanged.

Automatically Calculate Purchase Incentives from Your Purchases

When you have incentive agreements with suppliers that vary by item, quantity, or purchase value, tracking and calculating them can become repetitive, especially when you work with multiple suppliers and incentive rules.

“Purchase Incentives” lets you define the incentive rules agreed with your suppliers, whether as a percentage or a fixed value, and specify which rules apply to each item and supplier. It then calculates incentives from your actual purchases and returns and brings them together in a single yearly document, so you can track your incentives throughout the year without calculating them manually.
